bresmama asked:

I owe approximately 24K from my undergrad, and I’ve only been late one time last year. I applied for a Plus loan and was denied based on credit. I’m in my first semester and am struggling to come up with a way to pay! HELP!
And FYI I work on average 50 hours a week as a sexual assault counselor along with raising two boys.

Try becoming a research assistant or a teaching assistant… they usually get their tuition paid for plus a stipend.

Use your Bachelors to get a job. Pay off your loans. Rebuild your credit. Don’t let your kids suffer because you screwed up. Don’t compile your issues. Once your life is back in order, consider school.

Graduate school has guaranteed loans just like undergrad. Graduate school also has different limits. You should qualify no matter what your credit looks like.
