   You should try getting government student loans. They usually are lenient on that matter. They want you to get your education and you can pay them later when you have that great job.

   Talk to your financial aid advisor. They can help with applying for loans, grants and scholarships

   Actually, I don’t think it matters, as long as other student loans aren’t involved in that “sketchy” credit history. If you qualify financially, you shouldn’t have a problem.
