Years ago there were several centralized credit watch agencies that could be contacted to update regarding theft of multiple cards and or death. I am updating some of my legal stuff and wanted to get this information gathered. Thanks

    That is a Premium service that they charge for. You would have to sign up with them for that. Otherwise you have to contact each CC company individually.

    That is a service that one must purchase. The most reliable way is to contact each creditor individually, IN WRITING NOT EMAIL OR PHONE CALL, and take the appropriate action.

    Also notify the 3 major credit bureaus, again IN WRITING.

    Okay, here we go. Aside from the companies individual;
    File a police report
    Report Theft to the Federal Trade commission
    Close accounts
    Place “Fraud Alert” on your credit reports
