You can’t. You might be able to get a checking account with a parent, and therefore a Visa Check Card and that would establish bank rep but I know for a fact you can’t enter into a loan contract until you are 18. And when you turn 18, with the credit market the way it is, your best option will be a secured loan where you put $$ upfront and they use that as collateral but once you make several ontime payments, they give your $$ back to you.

i am not sure this is what u want or what it is called. but go to the bank and ask them for a card. u have to have money in savings to cover the amount of credit on the card. sort of like a debit card but it will eventually turn into a real credit card. you should be able to open a student account at 17 your mom/dad will have to sign some papers but u will have a debit card that way and it acts like a visa but again u can’t put more on it than what is in your account. other than that i really don’t know. u need a job for a credit card or be independently wealthy. stay away from capitol one. they are easy (with a job) to get into but they charge 24.9% interest. that is not good. hope this helps.

The easiest places to get a credit card if you dont have any credit are department stores (JCPenney, Mervyns… not Sears). Or jewelry stores are pretty easy. My boyfriend didnt have any credit, but JCPenney gave him one starting at $100 dollars, and it’s at $500 now only a couple months later. You have to buy something… like a shirt… and pay it in full when you get the first bill. That’s the way to get good credit quick.

Get your parents to put you on one of their cards or help you get one. Once you turn 18 two of the best cards to get with no credit is Target and Best Buy.YOu’ll get some credit from student loans too.
