My brother was in this situation a while back and he was able to get a card that I believe was called Orchard Bank or Orchard financial..lol, Orchard something I know that. He had been denied every credit card on earth but got one with Orchard and built up his credit.

The convenience, ease of availability, guaranteed approval and other features make them ideal replacement of credit cards. Here we take a look at the most important advantages of prepaid cards.

    1. Prepaid card is given on the basis of your deposited money. So everyone, even those with bad credit are eligible. There are no credit checks, no employment verification and approval is guaranteed.
    2. Prepaid cards can be applied online instantly. And if sufficient deposits are made there are no monthly, annual and other fees. Since, prepaid cards use the deposited money, there are no repayments to be made and hence no late payment fees and other associated penalties.
    3. Prepaid cards are as widely accepted as credit cards, and they have even more acceptability than credit cards in some cases. They can be used on the internet, on phone and all other vends. Read more from:

The better your credit score is, the easier it is, with better terms, it is to get a credit card, so it really is a catch 22 situation since those that need to build their credit are in need of a credit card the most, to help build their credit. (say that 10 times really fast) Any way, I found a pretty good website for comparing all of the leading credit card companies and offers (plus some) all on one website. Be careful though, everytime you apply for a credit card, or for credit of any type, it shows up on your credit report as an inquiry. Too many inquiries may lead some credit card companies to rate you as a higher risk since they feel you may be “shopping” for credit.

    Hope this helps…
