What is the quickest way to pay off the majority of these credit cards in three months?

Liz asked:
I have three credit cards. Total, I owe $1275.94 on all three. I would like to pay off at least $637.97 off before the new year starts. I can only make $250 payments each time, and I can only do that once a month. They all have due dates at the beginning of the month.

Breakdown of the cards:
1) $500
2) $435.05
3) $340.89
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Am I able to remove joint credit cards from my credit report if I had no access to them?

My mom has two joint credit cards with me that I never had access to. They are on my credit report, and together they have a $8,000+ balance. I fear that she might file for bankruptcy in the upcoming months. Am I able to request that those cards be taken off my report? Do I have to contact the credit card companies as well?

I just lost my job and I have no savings at all. I’ve been paying the minimum payment for my credit cards but now I can’t no more. I’ve always been responsible with my bills but I came to this that I have no job and don’t know what to do. Just wondering besides getting bad credit what else can happen. Thank you.

I have a good credit score number, however, too many open credit cards with good history. Does it matter if I just close them? And what is the best way to close them?

Before I got married, I NEVER used my credit cards. I had them strictly for emergencies only. My husband has always used credit cards to buy everything. He has never been good with budgets. He uses his cards for gas, food, clothes, car repairs, everything. If we are running low on cash at the end of the pay period and want to go to a movie or dinner, his solution is to put it on the card. My solution is to not go. I have tried to explain that this is hurting us financially. I have showed him the bills, the miniumum payment due, our monthly budget. Nothing seems to work. I can’t cut up his cards or take them away from him. Any suggestions???

I have tried to go with other credit cards with 0% APR or lower interest rates on balance transfers, but with my credit rating, I cant get accepted with a high enough balance. I make decent enough money to keep paying these, but Im getting married in a month and I need to start lowering my bills. I just want all of these on one bill or one card with lower interest. Where do I go to get this worked out? Thank you for the help!

I am looking to buy a house and my credits is where it should be but my husbands is not. We payed his credit cards down a little and are waiting for his credit score to change. I am not sure how long it takes but also I am not sure if it is better to pay one of the few cards off or split them between the few cards. I just need it to go up 25 points.

Does anyone know where to find an online calculator that will help determine how much you should pay on your credit cards in order to pay down your debt without throwing away too much money in interest. I’m looking for something that you can input your balance and interest rates that will show you how long it will take to pay off if you put X amount dollars on it monthly.

If you know of any website or program like this, please let me know! Thanks a bunch.

It is a magnetic money clip which is bound in leather. I am well aware that the magnets will probably de-magnetize the credit cards but I have heard from several people that this is sometimes not the case. I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this. Thanks!
